Yards Brewing Co. x Kyle Schwarber — “Schwarbomb” Exclusive Tees

(September 2025) In collaboration with Yards Brewing Co. and Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber, Rob Nero designed the official “Schwarbomb” t-shirt — a limited run produced exclusively for Yards’ in-store taproom shop. The design pairs Nero’s bold, stencil-driven style with Schwarber’s iconic nickname, creating a collectible that celebrates Philly baseball, local craft beer culture, and community.

The Preston & Steve Show — Daily Stencil Challenge Feature

(April 22, 2025) As part of his month-long challenge to create a new stencil every day in April, Rob Nero was invited onto The Preston & Steve Show to share his work, process, and history as an artist. On air, Nero discussed the inspiration behind taking on the daily challenge, how he approaches his single-layer stencil technique, and the evolution of his career from street installations to studio work. As part of the feature, Rob also gifted Preston and Steve framed portraits of themselves, making the moment both personal and unforgettable. The segment highlighted not only the discipline behind the April series but also the way Nero’s art continues to connect with the Philadelphia community.

Fox 29 “Good Day Philadelphia” Feature

(April 19, 2025) Rob Nero was featured on Fox 29’s Good Day Philadelphia morning show, joining hosts Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley to showcase his stencil artwork and creative process. During the live segment, Nero discussed his work and gifted original stencil portraits to the hosts — including Mike, Alex, Sue Serio, Thomas Drayton, and Jenn Fred. The feature highlighted how his art bridges Philadelphia culture, sports, and community while bringing his signature style to a wider audience.

Nike DN8 Launch — Air Max Day Tote Bag Painting

(March 19, 2025) To celebrate the launch of Nike’s new DN8 shoe for Air Max Day, Rob Nero collaborated with Nike to design and paint custom tote bags for employees. Each bag was hand-painted in his signature stencil style, giving staff a unique keepsake tied to the excitement of Air Max Day. The project blended art, sneakers, and culture — highlighting both the energy of the DN8 release and Nero’s creative voice within Philadelphia.

Jalen Hurts & Saquon Barkley Super Bowl Week Murals — 6ABC Live Feature

(February 9, 2024 @ 12th & Christian Street) Two days before the Eagles’ Super Bowl appearance, Rob Nero painted back-to-back murals at 12th & Christian in South Philadelphia, both featured live on 6ABC. The first mural, a portrait of Jalen Hurts, was painted live on air during a segment with anchor Maggie Kent, showcasing Rob’s single-layer stencil process in real time. Later the same day, Rob returned to paint Saquon Barkley, capturing the city’s energy as it geared up for the championship. The live coverage highlighted how Nero’s work fuses Philly sports, community, and street art.

CBS3 “Spreading the Love” Feature

(December 8, 2024) Rob Nero and his artwork were featured on CBS3 Philadelphia as part of Wakisha Bailey’s “Spreading the Love” series. The segment spotlighted his stencil practice and the positive impact of his work across the city — from public street pieces carrying messages of hope and belonging, to his evolving studio projects. Bailey’s feature framed Nero’s art as a reflection of Philadelphia’s spirit, celebrating both the community it comes from and the inspiration it continues to give back.

ROB NERO x JD Sports Store Opening Event

(November 23, 2024) At the new JD Sports store, located at 1528 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia, Rob painted tote bags for the first 100 customers. Rob was commissioned by the store to paint a canvas of Sixers Kelly Oubre Jr., who showed up to the event and signed the piece. This artwork is currently on display inside the store.

ROB NERO x Tierra Whack + Apple Music

(March 2023) Rob paints the exterior wall of the 13th Street Collective in Philadelphia with a portrait of musical artist Tierra Whack for a special video interview shoot with Apple Music. Rob gifts Whack a 1 of 1 canvas to celebrate the release of her debut album “World Wide Whack.”

ROB NERO x Victory Brewing Company Shirt Painting Event

(November 5, 2023) Victory Brewing Company, located along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, invited NERO to host an Eagles-themed shirt painting event. Attendees showed up to have a one-of-a-kind piece of Eagles gear created right in front of their eyes.

Parking Lot Pop Up Event

(October 16, 2023) NERO hosted a pop-up event in the parking lot of the South Philadelphia IKEA. Followers were given only a 1-hour notice of when and where the event would be taking place. 6 ABC Action News showed up to showcase the event.

Phillies Shirt Painting Event @ Mifflin Tavern Day 2

(October 11, 2023) The Phillies continued to stay hot in the postseason and NERO’s first event at Mifflin Tavern had a great turnout. NERO returned to host day 2, painting even more Phillies-themed shirts at this South Philly restaurant. This time, NERO’s event was featured on PHL17 Morning News with Alex Butler.

(September 24, 2023) NERO hosted his first Phillies-themed shirt painting event at Yards Brewing Co., located at 5th and Spring Garden St. in Philadelphia. Attendees brought clothing items and could choose from any player on the Phillies team for NERO to paint onto it.

NERO x Libertee Grounds Eagles Season Opener 2023 Shirt Painting Event

(September 10, 2023) On the day of the first Eagles 2023 season game, NERO hosted a shirt painting event at Libertee Grounds located at 1600 West Girard Ave. Attendees brought shirts and had NERO paint Philadelphia Eagles–themed stencils onto them.

Phillies Bryce Harper Mural (October 26, 2022 @ 12th & Christian Street)

Approaching the 2022 World Series, NERO painted a mural of Phillies 3-time MVP Bryce Harper on a wall at 12th & Christian Street. The mural was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and on PHL17 Morning News.

Art Show (December 10, 2021 @ Philadelphia Barber Company)

On Friday, December 10 (2021) NERO hosted his latest art show inside of Philadelphia Barber Company, an upscale barbershop located in Northern Liberties. 8 pieces of original artwork were created and displayed throughout the shop while small prints and merchandise lined the tables. Beverages sponsored by local companies Evil Genius, Two Robbers, Widow Jane Distillery, and Liquid Death. A DJ set the soundtrack for the night.

Hook & Master (1361 N 2nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19122)

Hook & Master is chef Jose Garces’ foray into pizza and seafood small plates. Inside, Nero created an interior poster installation of Bill Murray from the movie “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” wearing a knitted hat featuring the restaurant’s logo. The poster, created from an original stencil design spray painted onto large poster paper, was adhered to the wall and distressed to give an authentic street art look.

Arlen Specter US Squash Center (25 N 33rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19104)

The Arlen Specter US Squash Center is the country’s largest squash facility and anchor of the US Squash Community Affiliate Network. Nero designed and created a one-of-a-kind art installation for the grand opening event. The piece (measuring 7 feet wide and weighing more than 300 pounds) used 1,400 regulated squash balls to spell out the facility’s slogan “You Belong.” It was created in only 6 days with the help of fellow Philadelphia artist Frank Chappell.

From The Future (709 N 2nd St # 300, Philadelphia, PA 19123)

From The Future, a marketing agency in Northern Liberties, had a bare hallway that needed paint. The white walls were blacked out and, on each door, an astronaut with the words “COME AS YOU ARE” was painted. Unique stencils designed and created by NERO.
